Booking Form Template
Purpose
Within Rental Car Manager (RCM) it is possible to customise the booking form. There is a separate template for the Allocated, Unallocated and the Quote versions of the booking form. This will allow you to apply the changes to all of them or just one of them. At this point in time RCM Support (support@rentalcarmanager.com) will need to make any changes you would like to your booking form templates. Simply get in touch and request the changes you would like.
Booking Form Templates
The following things can be changed:
- making fields mandatory/optional
- hiding/showing a field
- setting a default value for a field
- changing the label on a field.
These changes can only be made to fields which appear on either the Drivers Details or the Booking Details tabs shown on the booking form below.
The following restrictions will apply to any changes made to the booking form templates:
- If a field is mandatory as part of the normal booking form processing, you will not be able to make it optional. An example of this is either the pickup or the drop off locations.
- Also, if a field is mandatory as part of the normal booking form processing, you will not be able to hide it.
- You will only be able to make changes to fields appearing on either the Drivers Details or the Booking Details tabs of the booking form.
