Access to Multiple RCM Companies From One User
Overview
A Rental Car Manager (RCM) instance is for a specific company, this means that it is possible for someone to have a user in more than one RCM instance if they are working with more than one company or the company has a presence in different countries. Different countries normally mean a RCM instance for each country.
It is possible to link your user to all of the RCM instances you have access to, this will allow you to login with one user and then choose the RCM instance you wish to log into.
User Setup
If you are wanting to add a different Company to your user, while you are logged into RCM, click on your Username in the top right of the screen and choose the "My Profile" option.
Choose the Organisations tab. If you have already linked a different RCM company, it will be shown here. To add a new link to a RCM company, click on the "Add an organisation" button.
A window will be displayed where you enter the username and password of your user in the RCM Company you are wanting to link to.
After you have entered the username and password, the company will be displayed on the Organisations tab of the Manage My Profile screen. If you wish to remove the link, simply click on the "Remove" button.
Logging In
Once you have the link/s setup you will be able to choose the RCM company you wish to log into.
On the RCM login screen enter the username and password of the user you were logged in as when you created the link.
After entering the username and password you will see the screen shown below. You will be able to choose the company you wish to log into from the drop-down.
Important Notes
It is very important to note that you should only log into one RCM company at a time.
If you have been logged into RCM and still have browsers windows open, you will have to close them before logging into a different RCM company.
If you need to be logged into both RCM companies at the same time, you will need to use different browsers. For example use Chrome to log into company A and Firefox to log into Company B.
